Gilles Frozen Custard

I stopped in around close and had a caramel apple crunch sundae and it was AMAZING. Their custard by itself is delicious and then the peanuts and caramel and apple pie filling warm on top of the custard..... The caramel apple crunch sundae is going to be my newest guilty pleasure. The staff was very very friendly even right at close. Very clean place. Not a lot of seating though

As always another successful trip to Gilles to get custard with the kids. The staff is always helpful. It's small but it's makes you feel as it you're in a small town where everyone knows everyone ????

Arrived at 7:55pm on 5/5 to find the small place pretty much packed. They had enough employees taking orders & cooking that orders were filled efficiently & fast. Within 6 minutes I received my order & it was correctly made & delivered hot. Neither the burger or the fries were greasy & the burger was cooked just to done, not overcooked & dried out. Choices for food & ice cream are Junior or Regular size. For desserts they have a frozen custard of the day, an assortment of sundaes, or you can make your own. Also, if this is your first time visiting, talk to the staff & you'll get a surprise. Many people complain about the cost of the food, but check out Culver's meals & dessert choices, & you'll notice the prices are similar & food looks more appetizing from Gilles. No flat burgers served here. Don't eat here often, but once in a while you need to treat yourself.

Omg this place is beyond amazing. They always have vanilla and chocolate and then a flavor of the week. I've had the chocolate chip cookie dough and the peanut butter extreme. This is the best custard I've ever eaten

Historical food and Custard joint in Milwaukee. One of the places that make Milwaukee great. Well known that Bud Selig always has lunch at the place. I actually saw him once. classic custard stand with good food. My inlaws had their first date here 50 years ago. Known for their sloppy Joe mix they put in burgers or on dogs. Don't plan on sitting, very limited space inside in Winter. In summer lots of room outside but many people eat in their car. Prices are good and a great place for the family.
