We ordered oysters, a seafood stew, and duck. All were delicious! All staff was friendly. Stimulating yet relaxed environment.

The service was excellent. Cocktails were terrific! Salmon and beef dish was excellent! Fried chicken tasted good, but a little cold. I'm sure if we mentioned it it would have been addressed. Meals are great at all three restaurants in this group.; Story Hill, Blues Egg, etc. Haven't been to Shorewood yet, it will be on the list!

I had my first visit to Maxie's tonight and it was amazing. The food was exceptional and the cocktails and beer selection were very well made. Our service was great, the only problem I had with our waiter was the number of amazing choices that he gave us to choose from for our meal.

Food is delicious and portions are generous. Prices are mid-range and there is an extensive drink menu (beer, wine, and cocktails). Check the wait time before going or put your name on the list online. Good spot with good food!

Maxie's was an incredibly solid experience. Despite arriving early (4:45) on Sunday, we had a 30 minute wait. We were able to grab some happy hour deals on drinks and oysters at the bar to make the wait pass quickly. The menu marks vegetarian and vegan dishes, but our our server was also able to walk us through a variety of gluten-free options for my wife. Our server was attentive and we received our food quickly. Overall, we were very happy with our dinner.
