I don't know how we haven't discovered this place sooner, but we very impressed. The patio seating is beautiful (although, watch out for the bees). Julia was our server both times that we have been there in the last couple of weeks and she was (is) great! We come from Muskego, so there are many places that are good that are closer, but we were attracted by an ad in a newspaper we picked up. It did not disappoint. My husband, who is not a known to crave a fish fry, chose the fried walleye and he loved it. I took another (well-traveled) friend there last Friday and she got the walleye, as well, and loved it. My mom is a vegetarian and there was plenty for her to choose from. I do wish that their varied (dinner) ravioli was available for lunch, but it will take 10 more trips there before I run out of things I haven't tried yet for lunch, so they have time!
The Bluemound inn features fantastic food and a varied menu, with a beautiful porch. One minor complaint is the inside is rather cramped, making it hard to get through the hallways and find a comfortable table. Also, the restroom is very small. Bluemound road has many restaurants but this is one of my favorites, recommended but not quite the best
We have visited Balistreri's several times, and each time the food and service have been excellent. A group of us had lunch there today before a Brewers game, and all fifteen of us were served within an hour. Becca and another server were attentive, and all in our group reported that their meals were very good. Their attention to detail is evident. We'll go back.
Went here on a Friday night and they were pretty busy. We didn't have to wait too long to get a table. Service was good and the food was delicious. They have a really nice patio area. Want to come back and try out their lunch menu!
We had the mussels with feta, amazing. Not over cooked, great sauce and came quickly. We then enjoyed a pepperoni special pizza. It was enjoyable but took some time to get to the table. Server was kind and stayed in communication about the delay. First time here and we can see why they have been around so long.
