Food is fantastic every single time. The drinks are phenomenal. And the staff is great, treat you like family. Best steak joint around hands down.
Jackson's is a very inauspicious building in a little nook of Milwaukee, but inside the restaurant has tremendous charm, friendly staff and some of the best steak in town. Prices are very high but competitive for supper clubs. Also, meals come with enough sides to satisfy even the hungriest guest. Jackson's proves again not to judge a book by its cover because the chapters may satisfy
Outstanding food! The steak was delicious, and the mushroom on the side took it to the next level. Try the pasta carbonara, it's one of the best I've tried in the USA. The cost is also quite fair compared to other steak places.
We had a group of 12 for a Friday night. Jackson Grill was accommodating considering we occupied 50% of the dining room. Everyone had a different entree (strip steak, rib eye, porterhouse, pork chop, ribs, shrimp) with a few sides. Everyone said the same thing... delicious!! Of course New Glarus was on tap but the real treat was the whiskey ole fashion (a must at a supper club).
A few had room for dessert (creme brulee and cheese cake) and everyone who ate were pleased with the selections.
Overall, I recommend a visit to Jackson Grill if in the Milwaukee area. Phone ahead even if you have a small group (they take reservations) since the total tables available is minimal.
Fantastic experience. Great meal. Steak was cooked to perfection (medium rare). Creme Brûlée for dessert was delicious.
