Motor Bar and Restaurant

Had a not so great experience back in 2019, but since I heard the Motor had a new GM, we thought we would give it another try. We started with the deep fried cheese curds which were very fresh, and the burger was made perfectly, juicy, fresh bun, and my wife had the brisket stuffed brisket baked potato which was perfect. All in all, a very nice and delicious dinner. Will be back!!!!

Stopped in last night for dinner. The hours online were different and not updated. That was the only downfall. We both had the Chili Mac and it was amazing! The two ladies that waited on us at the bar didn’t rush us even though they were closing earlier than posted. I would definitely return for that reason and the Chili Mac again. I even brought some home and had it for lunch. It was great! Nice bar and grill

We did not have to wait to be seated. Sat near the window close to the river. We ordered brisket nachos, smoked brisket sandwich, and burger. Great service and the food tasted wonderful. Got a beefy Mary and would recommend it. Bulleit spritzer tasted smooth and recommend that also. If you go to the museum and the restaurant, go to the museum first to get a discount at the shop and restaurant.

My family and I traveled from Alabama to Milwaukee. Our son attends college there. During our stay, we celebrated my husband's 50th birthday at Motor Bar and Restaurant. They had our table ready, gave us an extra table for the cake and gifts, the live musicians sang happy birthday and the staff was truly exceptional! The food was delicious! Every time we come to Milwaukee to visit our son...we will stop at this very fun and unique place!

It's been 12 years since I last ate here and the food is still top of the line!! I would very much love to see the Crossroads burger return! I feel it was a unique staple in the HD cook book!! That being said, the Grilled cheese and tomato soup is mouth watering!!
