Food is very good but the serving portion is too small for the price on the take out order
Great Food, tantalizing aromas attract you and pull you in the door. Once inside you feel like home! The ladies there work very hard to provide a pleasant experience and if you're not sure what to get. They can definitely recommend something that you can enjoy.
My friends and I went here on a whim and all of us were blown away by the delicious food and friendly service. Will definitely be coming back!
Had the pork jibarito sandwich with rice and pigeon peas. Plantain had a great fry, crispy outside and tender in. It held together perfectly. These guy know what their doing! Generous portion of roast pork was tender, flavorful and rich without being greasy. Mayo balances the pork wonderfully. One star off for spanish-only menus. Servers are friendly and attentive. Hope to return soon!
The flavor of the food is good, but everything is SO SALTY. I’m not sensitive to salt, I use plenty of seasoning and salt when I cook, but this is next level. I love Puerto Rican food, and this is the only place decently close to me, so I’ve given them a few tries with a number of items. Anything besides the plantains and rice will give you high blood pressure. If they lowered the sodium 50%, i’d give it 4 stars.
