The Copper Turtle Brewery & Taverne

Third ward offering an awesome place to grab a beer. Met up with some friends here and the beer was really good and service was nice! We are on the visit Milwaukee brewery tour and popped by. Wouldn’t have known about it without that.

Nice place, but ANNOYINGLY LOUD inside (a Saturday afternoon), with everyone trying to outshout the others. Smaller numbers of house brews, but they're tasty.

A nice addition to the third ward. Their beer is surprisingly good, and the renovation on the interior of the place is aesthetically pleasing to look at while working on a buzz. I plan to work my way through their tap list, but for now I can heartily recommend the Jelly Fish Juice and the Tell Me You're In Wisconsin Without Telling Me You're in Wisconsin, the latter of which could use a new name that's not after an overdone TikTok trend.
Also, just a heads up they are a credit card only bar and do not accept cash or crypto which is just inconvenient.

Stumbled into copper turtle on their first day open and it was wonderful. Great aesthetic and better beer. The amber was my favorite. We will definitely back. Our bartender Harrison was also very knowledgeable and funny. 10/10 recommend!
