“Very casual. Food is good priced. Salad bar is fine but not the best. Soups at salad bar were only OK not much flavor. Got the perch on Friday not very good, very generic (frozen food section) tasting. Other ordered the baked cod was very wet, grey and had a bread coating on it and had to return as it tasted bad. Got the tenderloin tips instead and they were very good! On Friday around 6 pm place gets packed! Almost was not able to pay bill at bar because was so packed!”

“We stopped in for lunch on the 4th of July. We arrived around 11:30 and found they were closing at 1:00.The waitress was very pleasant during our entire visit. We each ordered a hamburger and waited about 20 to get our food. It was worth the wait. The hamburger patties were handmade and cooked to perfection. The buns were fresh, buttered, and toasted. The fries were as hot and fresh as the burgers. The decor is eclectic, a combination of artifacts from the 50's to the present. The dining area was clean. The bathrooms were clean and functional but in need of repair and painting. The table next table over ordered hot beef and it looked really good. Laverne and Gail's is worth the trip.”

We started our at the bar~ the service was friendly, the beer was fresh and cold, the Old Fasioned was tasty, the wine was fresh and the atmosphere at the bar was very conducive to socializing. The dining room also had a good atmosphere, clean, great salad bar, great service, the Bavarian Schnitzel and Black Forest Tips specials were delicious! We ended the night back at the bar to finish and went home very happy.”

She was so nice and remembered our names and kept calling us by our name which is great in customer service. Now the food... I got the prime rib special, 10oz med rare, seasoned mashed potatoes, a roll and potato brat soup. FOR $13.95! I didn’t have to use salt and pepper on anything it was all so flavorful, filling and cheap! definitely will be back and I can’t wait. I would even just make the drive from Green Bay to go get a good meal there.”
