Bowl Ninety-One

The food is absolutely phenomenal and usually and usually service is good. Today my family waited 45 minutes for a table when we were told 20 minutes. We ended up seating ourselves in a combination of three tables pushed together that were open for a good ten minutes. It took fifteen minutes for our drinks to come after ordering. And now we’ve been waiting about 30 minutes for our five dishes.

One of my favorite restaurants in Appleton! I've loved everything on the menu I've ordered. Particularly the drunken udon. Treat yourself to thai ice tea to drink as well it's the best!

Edit: Great staff invited my wife and I back for a dish without fish sauce, the spicy vegan miso and garden ramen did not disappoint. Very tasty!

Fantastic service and appetizers however our two main dishes both had an off odor and tasted strange. Maybe it was too much fish sauce?

We’ve been wanting to try Bowl 91 for a long time and have heard a ton of great things regarding the restaurant! We had the crab Rangoon appetizer and two ramen bowls. Everything was amazing! My ramen broth was the perfect level of spice and flavor and the crab Rangoon was super tasty and hot. What a great addition to the Fox Valley! We can’t wait to be back!

I've been to Bowl Ninety-One on two separate occasions, and I was happy to know that multiple menu items are just as tasty as others. I've been to several pan-Asian restaurants where one or two of the dishes are great, but the rest don't live up to the same standard, but I can say now that everything at Bowl Ninety-One is delicious. I've had a few of the curry dishes, several of the noodle specials, but yet to have the ramen (which I'm told is great). The Thai iced coffee or tea brings a great balance to a meal that might be a bit spicy for some.

It's a small space that definitely fills up quickly around the lunch and dinner hours, so make sure to get there early or be prepared for a bit of a wait. The restaurant itself is in a great location in the heart of downtown Appleton, so it's just a quick walk away from plenty of other bars, restaurants, shops, and attractions.

One tiny, and I mean tiny, issue I did have the first time I was there, I asked the server what she would recommend, and she didn't really have an answer for me. She simply listed off just about everything on the menu. Maybe it makes me sound entitled, but if I'm asking for a recommendation, I would appreciate a concise answer with two or three top choices.
