Bagels and sandwiches are great.
The reason for the 3/5 is the system they have in place is chaotic.
It begins with all employees filling orders and then a scramble to get someone on the register to clear out all of the completed orders. The line reaches the door, impatient customers interrupt the staff or decide theyre.more important than you and step ahead of you to request they receive their order.
The layout of the store leaves people to find a random place to stand which adds to the chaos of what order goes to whom. Occassionally orders are brought out to waiting customers and relies on them to inform the staff that they have not paid.
This on top of all the trouble there is in the parking lot early in the morning. Between people speeding around to get a parking spot, to the cars flying through using the alley as a thru street to get to Oneida. I was almost hit several times just because I wanted a breakfast sandwich.
My wife and I stopped here for lunch today for the first time. The food was good, the place was clean, and the staff was friendly. They had a good selection of bagels, and the order came up fast. Thanks! We will be back again in the future.
Best bagel ever…. The honey butter is the best best ever! Excellent price& service!
These bagels are just so dang good! It's a lengthy drive from my office, but it's worth it. There's just something about their fresh bagels. Forget the spread, they're so good just by themselves. They have other food there too. We often grab a couple fruit and yogurt parfaits as well; sometimes a sandwich. Just a friendly, tasty, small joint that is worth the trip every time.
Noticed this place many months ago. Today, I tried it for the first time. Kicking myself for waiting so long! Got a lunch to go. Onion bagel with turkey and cheese. Courteous staff toasted and wrapped. Then put lettuce tomato and onion in a separate container. Condiment of choice in a to-go Cup.
At lunch time. I opened my bag. Felt like it was more of a lunch from grandma. Everything was perfect and neatly prepared. Including a surprise pickle. Great one at that. This was not a lunch. This was an experience!!!
