“Food came out cold, and one of us got the wrong order. While it was correct the second time, once again the food was cold. We watched the cook staff switching onion rings and fries around, keeping them near the heating lamps. The response of the manager when informed of this was "oh". The stars reflect the hostess, she was constantly busy seating customers and bussing and cleaning the tables. Nate, our server, checked a number of times if I wanted coffee, he did give me a refill once.”

I've only gone there twice: once when they opened (was shocked by the price then) & hadn't returned in about a year for my second visit which was for a fundraiser for my daughters school. So if you want a great sub & you don't mind paying more for it, go. But if you're on a budget, bring coupons, mooch off friends or steer clear altogether.”

“It's pretty darn fun here! I love the decor and the retro vibe! The food also matches the nostalgic feeling and is of a reasonable price! For the most part the food is pretty alright. It's nothing spectacular, but then again, spectacular food isn't exactly what you come here for. I suggest sticking to the more "common" menu items like burger, fries, and stuff such as that. Things that are considered more exotic or outside of the normal range for these types of joints tend not to end up tasting as good or being as high of quality.”

It was done to perfection and I love the thin fries. The place could use a good cleaning as there was dust hanging from the TV. They have a good staff and serve the traditional Friday night fish.”

“PJ Piper is one of the last and best "small town" diners around. The service is excellent! If you have coffee your cup will not be empty until you desire it to be. The food quality is always great and the prices are very reasonable compared to portion size. This is a breakfast/lunch place to be sure. They close mid-afternoon, but open bright and early at 5:30. Weekends are very busy, but it has always been worth the wait. Just keep in mind that this is a place that is popular with the locals, and for good reason. I have yet to find someone who did not like going to PJ Piper.”
