Red Beard Bistro

Staff was very nice. Food: gyro really good...fish sandwich pretty average...fries great. Bun kinda dry like right out of bag room temp. Buttered and toasted on grill would have been awesome! We live in America's Dairyland with access to the best cheeses in the world and they used "unmelted" process American Cheese Slices very disappointing. And we were the only customers and their that day so a little extra attention to detail would have made all the difference. We hope they do well and would be willing to give it a try again.

Great food and even better service. The owner is wonderful and was so helpful when I couldn’t decide what I wanted to eat (there are seriously soooo many good options)!! The inside has been redone and is so quaint and cute - would 10/10 recommend this restaurant if you’re in the area!

Local hidden gem. Great atmosphere and delicious fish fry! If you're passing thru & not hungry - the ice cream is still a MUST! Always carries fun flavors. #SupportLocal

My husband and I love Red Beard Bistro! The food is great and good quality with a lot of variety and custom options. We enjoy trying the burger specials and have really enjoyed the homemade soups. There are a lot of appetizers for everyone’s taste. During this pandemic, we usually get food to go, which isn’t too long of a wait, but the seating offers a nice atmosphere. She has great ice cream, which we usually take to go or eat for a treat while we wait. The owner is very nice and we’ve always had excellent service. You won’t regret stopping in at Red Beard for a nice meal or sweet treat!

We were driving through Phillips today and randomly stopped here. The food was delicious and we loved the atmosphere. I had the BLT+A without mayo..and it was so good I might have to make a trip back when we visit that part of Wisconsin again. Also, the people were very nice. Definitely stop and check this place out!!
