Amazing Laotian, Vietnamese fusion. You have to convince them to make it hot. They don't trust that you mean it in the Midwest. That said, if you don't like spicy, their cooking is rich and deep in flavor. Decent pho too. There are definitely a mom and pop in the back who know their stuff.
Im from Indiana, it was Good. I got chicken fried rice. It had a very different taste to me. But it was actually really good. Also had sweet/sour chicken, that had good flavor. I didn't not care for the crab-ragoon. I would got back though.
Went here for lunch. Had the Sweet and Sour Shrimp. It was a generous portion of lbattered shrimp lightly fried and sauteed in our homemade sweet and sour sauce with chunks of juicy pineapple, carrots, bell peppers, onions, tomatoes and cucumbers. The sauce was a little bland, but otherwise it was a good meal. The portion was huge but it was so good and I managed to finish it all!! The egg roll and hot green tea were nice compliments to the meal. Service was outstanding with the waiter friendly and attentive to our needs. Total cost for my meal - $10.80. This was a very good meal and a very good price.
We ate here for the first time tonight and it was amazing. You can tell everything is fresh and it's well worth the wait. We had the bistro sampler, sweet and sour chicken, and volcano shrimp. It did not disappoint, we left full and happy. We will definitely be back.
This bistro had delicious food, very fresh and with lots of excellent flavors. There is a good variety of dishes on their menu and their serving portions are generous. The wait staff was courteous, skilled and helpful. They were very busy on a Friday night, so there was a wait time of about 30 minutes before we were seated. And the food is made fresh, so there is down time during the meal as well. The three large televisions make the ambiance more like a pub than a fine restaurant, but the superior quality of the food makes up for it.
