Beautiful views. Excellent rooms & clean. Front desk very helpful. Lots of things to do & see. Great place to bring kids & family.
It was a decent size room, nicely decorated and clean. The bathroom was a bit small but the bathtub was huge, took up almost exactly half of the space. However, the way the bathroom was designed left it feeling a bit cramped. There was a deck or balcony to every room in the Sands building which made it so much easier as a smoker to have instant access to the outside but, there wasn't a receptacle to put cigarette butts into (and there were some there from a previous tenant that weren't cleaned up). Parking was pretty plentiful when I was there but I got there outside of prime operating hours. The water park was a bit smaller than expected but the rides were really fun, depending on your interests. The restaurant prices ranged from somewhat decent to a bit ridiculous but I don't guess they were out of the ordinary for the area. The pizza was delicious (especially for the price) but the cheapest item on one menu was a taco that tasted sub-par at best. Didn't go to the buffet because, as a picky eater, the food didn't seem to warrant a roughly $22 charge ($13.50-or-so for kids) but the dessert table looked excellent. Can't say I'd go there for any real reason other than a major event as I'm to understand an average night stay for one person with no discount is around $250 (water park ticket price included in that). It was nice for a night. Not something I'd do even yearly but, hey, if you want an experience not like many places and have the funds to run through, have fun with it!
Amazing resort! The staff is friendly and the accommodations are top notch. On site you have water parks, an arcade, restaurants, a movie theater, a very nice bar lounge with games, bowling and an assortment of amusement rides. There’s really not much reason to leave unless you want to go shopping. The prices on most of these amenities are reasonable for a resort. Best of all, they have the fastest and most unique water slides of any resort if Wisconsin Dells. This is my favorite place to stay, bar none.
What can I say about the Kalahari other than it's a nice day. Oh, I should say great Resort. The buffet is out of this world. The people at the resort are very helpful, very polite and courteous. The pool area it's always nice and the lifeguards are really nice people there having a wonderful time as usual this is her second year Kalahari. And I'll keep coming back can clear enough about it other than great people great food. All in all it's a wonderful place.
Wonderful! Very nice room. Water park was fun. Had great food. Heading off to the arcade now. Lots of fun for the family. So much better than our trip last year to Mt. Olympus. Don't even get me started on that ridiculous waste of money. The Kalahari is worth the trip.
