Got the petite filet for myself and corn dogs for the kids. Filet was delicious, tender, and cooked perfectly. Kids liked their Kiddie Cocktails. Got red velvet cheesecake to go. Quiet restaurant, which I enjoyed.”

“Why should you care what I think? - I visited this restaurant while on a road trip with family. - I love experiences while dining of great food and service...mostly service. - I do not know the owner or any of the employees and I'm not from the area so this review is without bias. - This was my first experience here. What we had: Pickle Fries and Cheese Curd appetizers. Main courses included Chicken Marsla and Shrimp Alfredo led with Southwestern Steak soup and salad. Service: Our server. Helen was so positive and gave expedient service! Other servers seemed to have great interactions with other patrons as well. The atmosphere: 8pm Sunday. Quiet and reserved. Interior design was sophisticated and vintage. Would I return? Yes.”

I was ignored by the staff until I asked if someone could take my order. Then, there was a tinge of patronizing toward me by the order taker. The food however, was excellent as usual. Likely an off-day, but I've run into rudeness in this town before...”

“The Sand Trap Bar & Grill is a hidden treasure located in Christmas Mountain Village. The service is excellent, and the (very) proud owners are passionate about making people happy with their delicious food. I am a new fan of their mushroom swiss burger, and they have great local Wisconsin beer selections to go with it. The atmosphere is pleasantly clean, and the area is absolutely gorgeous! I definitely recommend checking it out.”

“Fun staff and a nice environment and bar. The menu selection is a bit smaller than I would prefer and the quality of the food doesn't really help me get past that either. The chicken tender basket, classic Mac & Cheese and Pizza are the only things worth buying on the menu other than the drinks. To be honest, me and my friends only went here because it was conveniently located near where we were staying at the time. The only thing I enjoyed a lot was the wonderful staff (whom got my friend a free ice cream Sundae because it was her birthday) and a small bit of the food.”

“I'll be honest: we're from St. Louis and were here to watch game 7 of the Stanley Cup finals (and we got to watch the Blues win!). But we did buy appetizers, drinks and meals. Waitress was super sweet and attentive. Fried cheese curds have a very thick and crunchy batter. I prefer a lighter, flakier one, so maybe it's just me. We ordered all three burgers with "pink" when asked by the waitress but all of them were overcooked. The buns was a bit chewy but I wonder if it's just the way they're me. Tater tots were yummy though. Drinks were solid as well.”
