Main Street Tacos

Wisconsin has no business having a Mexican restaurant this good! It's a very busy little place with several seats, great food and some of the best folks running it and cooking for it.

The carnitas burrito was so flavorful and filling, I was ready for a nap, with a big smile on my face! And the guacamole was so fresh and delicious, I wish I'd ordered two sides of it.

Ordered the sampler platter and some chips. Holy cow! Big portions, great price. Our waiter brought us the food singing and dancing to the music. Fun atmosphere. Line out the door right now but golly they're fast with serving. Authentic Mexican, will be back...

Just an awesome little Mexican spot. Definitely more of the ‘authentic’ feel, which is greatly appreciated. The portion of chips/guacamole/queso/salsa was huge and we brought some home, and the tacos for $2 a pop is a steal.
Nice little seating outside along the road.

This is a GEM in Hayward and we will be stopping here regularly when we are up.

I've been eating Mexican food for over 50 years and was happy to see a decent taco place in Hayward. I don't like most of the Mexican food in the upper north Minnesota and Wisconsin. This was better than others. It's just not like the food I grew up eating in California. This was a good place to eat. My grandson loved there rice. Huge burritos at a very good price.

We were delighted to find this new (to us, anyway) Mexican restaurant on Main Street in Hayward, WI and decided to give a try. There were many tempting choices on the menu. I chose the "Mamas Green Enchiladas" combo, with steak filling, and my wife had a taco salad with chicken, opting for the green salsa. Both of us were very happy with our choices - they were very tasty, the ingredients were fresh, and they seemed to be an excellent value. In addition, the staff was friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be returning!
