Pier 500

Amazing place to eat, only down side is finding a place to park. Parking in Hudson is crazy. Wait staff is usually very good even with the High School kids. The Pier always seams to hire the right people. Summer time at the pier is better then most as you can sit on the patio and look at the river. I only have positive things to say about this restaurant.

With a splendid view of the St. Croix river, a delicious menu of gourmet dishes to choose from, an excellent wait staff, convenient parking; Pier 500 is understandably a little pricier. In my opinion it's well worth the price. On a beautiful day, it's worth the wait for a seat in the patio.

The waiter was amazing. He was very attentive. Always made sure you were satisfied and needing nothing additional. The kitchen manager and waiter were even interactive with my 3 year old. They went way out of the way to make a dish for him. One of the best restaurants I have been too.

Great service. Food was good but not my personal liking. I like my green beans cooked more and meatloaf not seasoned to be hot, maybe the pepper. Not a pepper fan. Husband thought meal was great.

First time here, not sure I'll stop again. Food was good with many unique options and location was great. Staff was anything but friendly. I saw one wait person smile the entire time we were there. Hostess didn't greet us but made us feel as if we were a bother. Waiter never smiled, looked directly at us, or acknowledged anything when we ordered or paid our bill, not even a thanks for stopping.
