Beautiful lodge. Service and friendliness abound. Try the mushroom caps - delicious. Med to large and perfect balance of ingredients. We had filet and they were excellent. Owner greeted us and thanked us for coming. Will be sure to be back!

Friday fish fry at Aberdeen was amazing with our family. We had one young child and it is a very child friendly restaurant for the fish fry. If you are looking for a more healthy entree option, try the salmon salad

Possibly the best food you'll find in the area. I had the Walleye - deep fried, the wedge salad, the cheese curds, and the bread pudding. (I was hungry..) The Walleye was seriously the best I've had. I meant to eat one fillet and box the second but that didn't happen. The wedge salad has a wonderful smokey flavor that sets it apart from the million other wedges out there. The lettuce is singed on the grill to create a completely exciting flavor. The cheese curds are a must have WI Northwoods standby and the bread pudding should be boxed and taken home if you can't stuff it in while you are there. (It makes for a lovely breakfast addition for the next morning.) Always crowded, reservations are recommend, but waiting at the bar for a table to open up is a fine option if you didn't plan ahead.
