“Food is always good at Eagle Waters. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Prices are reasonable too. The kitchen is slow though. We got there at 6:30 and didn’t leave until 8:40 because it took 1.15 hrs to get our food. They could offer better house wine too. If you are in the area I would definitely stop for dinner and drinks by the fire. Hopefully the kitchen will be faster for u. Service is always good too.”

“We needed to book a room for our son's hockey tournament weekend. Unfortunately for all of us there was a lot of people in town that weekend with the derby which made finding a room a struggle. I was unfamiliar with the area so when I saw Chanticleer was 2 minutes away from the arena and had decent reviews I booked it. Expedia lied to me and led me to believe I had booked 2 king beds when we only had one and the staff member I spoke to the morning of check in hooked us up with a cot, and accommodated a couple other requests, so my teenager didn't have to share a bed with his parents lol. They were super helpful, extremely friendly and wonderfully entertaining during our stay and our visit to the bar our first night. I would 100% come back and visit this crew if we visit Eagle River again. The room was tidy and a perfect crash pad for the weekend we had, I can imagine with the view of the water it's probably a great spot in the summer, and though I can't speak of the winter activities as we were in the ice arena all weekend it seemed to connect to a bunch of snowmobile trails. Thanks guys! We had a blast with y'all! Hope to visit again!”

“The food and drinks definitely live up to the name, as they were absolutely "off the chain!!" My group all shared plates and were blown away with the quality. The flatbread was surprisingly tasty, the jumbo shrimp were huge and delicious and the gouda sliders were bursting with flavor. Loved the blueberry spin on an old fashioned as well. Will absolutely be back!!”

“Food was good and our waitress was realy very good. The place was not busy at all, but it still took an hour and 15 minutes to get our food. We were 5 people and we all had the sunday chicken dinner. We were told that they that they only had 1 broaster and that is why it took so long. Seeing as there was only 10 tables and it was the special, it really should not have taken that long.”
