1878 on the Lake

My boyfriend and I went here for our one year anniversary. He had the tomato pesto rigatoni, was phenomenal, our favorite dish. I had the wagyu burger, it was an average burger it was good but nothing special, the fries were basic. The service was outstanding Brenda our waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. She gave us a dessert on the house for our anniversary ! We’ll definitely come back here!

My lunch was delicious! I came because I saw that they got a new lunch menu and wanted to try something new. If you're looking for an intimate lunch setting with good food and a beautiful view of the lake, this is it.

Make sure to stop at the bar before dinning. It is truly an unforgettable experience.

Service was fast and friendly and our food delicious. The view from the restaurant cannot be beat.

We will be returning to 1878 on the lake and Lake Lawn resort

We had a lovely mid week getaway at lake lawn resort. This was our first time dinning since the remodel. The restaurant is beautiful and the bar has to be one of the coolest in the state. Our server was friendly and attentive and the food was spectacular. Our favorite appetizers were the pork belly lollipops and the tuna tostada. The bone in pork for dinner was full of flavor and cooked to perfection. We will be back.

This was my second time here for lunch. The menu had some new items, including some Beyond Tacos. I decided to try the Beer Cheese Soup again; now they serve it with bacon and green onions, which made it even better. The cheddar popcorn on the top is a great touch. I also tried the bacon cheese smash burger. I was told I couldn't pick the temperature, so I was worried that it would be dry, but it was actually quite juicy and good. The server was also very good. She was fast, friendly, and engaging. Thank you!
