Great place for a steam punk convention ... no close off-site food options. Hotel wine is very good, and the buffets are about as good as buffets get ... overall layout is sprawling, which makes trekking from room to events & back tedious, Decor is rustic, tho a bit over-the-top for my tastes, but if you love giant 8x8 beams everywhere, you'll like it more than me ... giant open, outdoor courtyard and beach are wasted in March.

The Espresso and Ice Cream Shop need to put espresso milkshakes on the menu ... I custom "order" them all weekend, but they never remember year to year!

Awesome place to take the family year round. Indoor and outdoor pools abs hot tubs. Spa, arcade, multiple restaurants. Activities for the kids on the weekends and lots of lake activities in the warmer months. Would definitely stay again. Got a rare chance to see some pelicans too!

Great ambiene. Good getaway. Although, I am not permanently handicapped, I am riding around with a scooter due to an Ankle surgery. I am having significance difficulties, as handicapped access is limited, starting from the parking lot all the way into the building. I had to hop over a few steps with my scooter in order to make it to my room.

Staff is friendly

I went to Sky Circus for my first time and it was very beautiful. So much going on. A nice place to walk the lakefront or walk on ice. There needed to be stronger winds and is something that there is no control over. Many things going on inside also. The best part of it is that it's free!!

The Front Desk staff is fantastic. Check in and check out was a breeze, super friendly and helpful, happy to remove an incorrect charge and search lost and found. Rooms were cozy, but had very thin walls. Pool attendant was super friendly.
