“On a road-trip with the buddies from Milwaukee to Janesville and this was the type of place you want to stop in the winter. Classic Wisconsin back-bar and a fun group of people in there. BIG real wood burning fireplace takes up the wall and really warms the place up (not to mention the smell taking you deep in the woods :) ) Bartender treated us well and the drinks were solid and prices were on point.”

“Upscale but casual. Food came out in correct order: drinks, appetizer, salad, entree. Pork shank fell off the bone, served over wonderful risotto. Chicken parmesan was standard, hand breaded with fresh marinara. House dressing on the salad was home made, and delicious. Fried calamari was good. Management/owner personally checked on our satisfaction. Top dollar professionalism and procedure at a place you feel comfortable in jeans and a t-shirt. Great experience.”

“Food was excellent. Steak was cooked perfectly. They have some of the best homemade french fries around. Service was amazing. Our server was very attentive and polite. This was our fourth or fifth time there in the last few months and is becoming our "go to" for great food close to us. I alsoo highly recommend their ribs and deep fried cheesecake. Amazing!”
