“The kids (ages nearly 5-9) and adults love bed visiting Shalom. The animals all looked well cared for and most had sprawling natural enclosures to roam. The suggested time for walking the park was 1.5-2 hours and with four kids it took us about 3.5 hours so make sure to allow plenty of time. They also have free penny press machines and provide the pennies so the little ones for those held us up a bit. Next time I think we will pay the extra money and gets a couple buckets of food to feed certain animals as I know the kids will enjoy that. We will definitely go back.”

“Nice variety of beers on tap. My new favorite discovered there, is Batista with an 11.7 kick, nice! Enjoyed the Rueben sandwich. Super tender, plentiful portion and flavor. Ordered the sour cream fries which you don't find often. They also have tater tots (how fun is that!?) A few weeks back they had a lamb chop special. I'm fairly new to lamb and loved that it was not seasoned with the heavy taste of rosemary. I would order that again if it is offered. Comfortable setting, small enough to get noticed yet big enough to feel as though you went out for the night. Servers seem to turn over often yet typically always friendly. The owner, who sometimes acts as hostess could tune in and be more attentive to his clientele. I often feel he is more interested in micromanaging his staff or finishing a conversation with staff than greeting visitors.”
