“Our Kiwanis club members met to have breakfast at the Gateway Restaurant before heading to the Annual Turkey Shoot. The owner is a member of our club & caters our weekly meetings. We always have great meals buffet style. I had blueberry pancakes for breakfast and there were 3 huge plate sized pancakes making me feel full until the end of the day. Choice of 3 syrups & butter to top it off. Accessible to the parking lot & restaurant is good for handicap persons.”

“I went through drive thru this evening between 7:30 and 8pm. Ordered 2 grilled flamethrower snack wraps, with some other stuff. I wish I could post a picture this is the funniest thing. I got 2 crispy flame thrower snack wraps with the tortilla grilled on both sides. Classic!”

“Nice variety of beers on tap. My new favorite discovered there, is Batista with an 11.7 kick, nice! Enjoyed the Rueben sandwich. Super tender, plentiful portion and flavor. Ordered the sour cream fries which you don't find often. They also have tater tots (how fun is that!?) A few weeks back they had a lamb chop special. I'm fairly new to lamb and loved that it was not seasoned with the heavy taste of rosemary. I would order that again if it is offered. Comfortable setting, small enough to get noticed yet big enough to feel as though you went out for the night. Servers seem to turn over often yet typically always friendly. The owner, who sometimes acts as hostess could tune in and be more attentive to his clientele. I often feel he is more interested in micromanaging his staff or finishing a conversation with staff than greeting visitors.”

“Their food was always good, especially for breakfast, but this last time I ordered a ham and cheese omelette. It was a square patty of scrambled eggs with the ham and the cheese sprinkled on top. Not what I had in mind and it's not what I'm used to when I've ordered that in the past. Probably just a different cook. Hash browns came with breakfast, but a very very small portion of them. Service is always good and it's a yearly tradition for our family to come here for breakfast on Mother's Day weekend.”
