“Still a Panera, and maybe because it was a Sunday evening my experience was not great. Sloppy sandwich, cold soup and had to get the food myself. My son had never had a sandwich from Panera, as we had been on the road all day we had eaten Subway for lunch. When asked what he thought of his sandwich he said "Good, yet Subway's sandwhich was surprisingly better". I believe that tells you all you need to know about this experience.”

“Really cool space, with far more selection than I would have expected from an outside glance. Coffee is pretty good and very reasonably priced, and the grasshopper cake I had alongside it was really amazing for four bucks. Seasonal coffee selections are apparently changed regularly; I had an Irish Cream based "Pot of Gold" which really hit the spot. My table was a giant cribbage board, which was cool. The whole space feels very "coffee shop" without feeling pretentious, which is uncommon in my experience. I'll be going back next time I am in town.”

“I was actually very surprised by this restaurant. We were there late on a Sunday night just because Perkins was open. I haven't been in a Perkins for years... I didn't even want to go in but hey it was open. I ordered a blackened shrimp on rice, I was just surprised that they'd even have that on the menu. Everything was blackened just a bit and the right amount and the shrimp, broccoli, red peppers and onions were very high quality. There wasn't too much rice and there were lots of veggies which is good. My companion had a turkey dinner which was also very high quality. Service was good and friendly. They did a good job.”

“Wow, what an experience this place is. The bakery is about 30 minutes removed from Madison, but the drive out there is a beautiful drive. Some friends and I ordered our pizzas earlier in the day, which I HIGHLY encourage. We pulled in 30 minutes early and their was a live band playing a bonfire going. It felt like you were transported to the Appalachian Mountains. To speak to the food, it was fun and delicious. The pizzas had very fresh ingredients and unique combinations. They were all very well put together and had that signature crusty bottom from the wood fired oven. 10 out of 10, would recommend.”

“An interesting alternative to the regular fare. I was in Oshkosh visiting my brother who had his knee replaced and decided to eat at Pilora's Cafe one day. They have some healthy food options. Well we both went with a burger. Mine was called the Eden. Came with lettuce, tomatoes, green and red peppers on whole wheat bread. It also came with some salad options. I went with the Waldorf salad. Great start!???? The burger came and had diced tomatoes instead of a slice and large pieces of peppers and a round burger patty. Needless to say it was messy when I tried eating it. I might suggest square burger patties tomatoes slices instead of dices and thinly slices the peppers . Homemade potato chips came with the order. All was tasty. I would go there again”

“A man working let us use the restroom, which is for customers. My daughter was sick but he thanks us for asking and shared it happily. Upon leaving, we had a nice conversation. Turns out he owns the bakery... He gave us a free loaf of bread to help her tummy and part of a brownie. He could not have been nicer and the baked goods were delicious!!! He made our day with his kindness and cheery disposition. The town is lucky to have him as a vendor..what a guy!”

“We had a good brunch. We got the strawberry cream cheese crisps. They were to die for. I had a skillet, my mom had the pot pie mini deal, and we got pies to go. We ate all the food before I could snap pics of it, so I've included the tiny human. Thea was our server and she was so polite and professional; I am always so indecisive and she was so patient with me. I brought my 5 month old with us and all of the workers were complimenting her looks and behavior. The cashier also had a conversation with my mom and I about our piercings and tattoos. I would definitely go back to the Oshkosh Perkins. Good food and great service!”

“I love the chicken and waffles here. The honey mustard sauce is dinner of the best ive ever had...not too sweet not too tangy, just three right balance between the two. The strips are crispy and the waffles are crunchy on the outside and light and fluffy inside. So good(for this dish in this area anyways)! Also, I don't remember her name, but the server we had was wonderful. She was kind, polite, and gave us just the right amount of attention without hovering and bothering our meal. Over all it was a great experience!”
