Open Range Steakhouse

Friendly staff, great atmosphere, and most importantly great food! Highly recommend the Bison steaks, they come from a ranch literally right across the street (the open range you see through the windows).

Tour at Durham Bison ranch in Gillette. After the tour, which was really awesome by the way, we had a very good bisonsteak at this restaurant. Both a must-do experience

Attractively appointed restaurant with dining choices unique to the local area. Buffalo Steaks, and Burgers from the Durham Bison Ranch across the Road! All entrée selections include a well stocked Salad Bar. Menu selection is small, but has enough variety to allow for frequent visits. Convenient location attached to the Wright Hotel. As a guest of the Hotel, I visited several evenings in a row. Staff was friendly, and attentive. Alicia waited on our group on several evenings, and provided exceptional service. She ensured that we were well taken care of, and drinks arrived promptly!

Salad bar was good. Mashed potatoes were real red potatoes and not instant which was great. Only reason it's a 4 star and not 5. The restaurant was very warm inside and the cut of sirloin steak could have been nicer. The sirloin steak to me didn't seem up to standard for a sirloin seemed like a cheaper cut.
