“UPDATE: I greatly appreciate the quick response from the owners and their vested interest in making things right. They refunded the full cost of the meal and expressed great concern about getting a negative review. They requested o remove my review, however i think it's fair to let it remain. I change my rating from one star to three given their willingness to refund the cost. *Ribeye was room temp, baked potato was undercooked and couldn't mash with my fork. *hamburger steak was bland, potato want mashed, rather half smashed and extremely hard. The whole plate was covered in a thick, presumably canned, gravy. Told the waitress, and rather than offering to make the meal right, she offered to placate us with a slice of pie, and later a brownie. It cost $30 for one bite of room temperature steak and three bites of hamburger steak drowning in sludge. The waitress said she discounted the meal, but it seems that discount was about 10%. The chef seemed uninterested in our complaint and the waitress appeared unsure what to say. Had I not been with my mom, i would have made a bigger deal. There is no reason anyone should be charged for those meals. I'm not sure how this place got 4.9 stars (from 75 total reviews) but I highly suggest you keep driving.”

“My club sandwich was very yummy! The homemade fries were good. The service was great. But, they sat us back by the kitchen, and it was hot and smelled of kitchen grease. There was a wall, but it wasn’t clear to the ceiling, and the snell and heat was coming over the wall. The need to replace ceiling tiles. It was a close walk from the campground where we were staying the night. Locals seem to like it.”

Just so down to earth, wanting to make sure all was good. You have to ask about the bean burrito on every plate, great story. Love, love , loved it!”

“Ton of tasty food We recently ate here on a road trip from Atlanta to Utah. It was late and we needed to get to our B&B soon. We called in our order and they had ready when we got there. We ordered vegetarian pineapple fried rice and flat noodle dish. Both were very good. My mother-in-law ordered pineapple fried rice with shrimp and they put lots of shrimp in it. All in all it was a good meal. We had enough left over for breakfast the next day!”

“We stopped here on our way through Rawlins on I-80 after a Google search for a decent sit down restaurant. From the name I wouldn't have chosen it but after a look at their menu we decided to give it a chance. Good choice because it turned out to be as good or better than we had hoped for. We all had salads for lunch and our friends and my wife crowed over their jalapeno ranch dressing. The salads were all fresh and crisp combinations of iceberg lettuce, tomato, cheese and other ingredients depending on the type of salad. Let's face it, fancy lettuce isn't the easiest thing to find in the middle of Wyoming so the use of iceberg is excused. And all we're pleased with the meats on the salad; warm and nicely seasoned. The atmosphere was a cute collection of sports and nostalgia. Service was good with honest and accurate menu recommendations and quick response to our needs. Last but certainly not least, the serving size was generous and the pricing was easy to swallow. We all agreed after we left that we sure were glad we stopped and it was worth the side trip off the interstate.”

“Does 5 stars mean this place is perfect and never makes mistakes? No. But I haven't had a bad experience here yet. Tonight was a hectic night for them with some problems with their label machine and orders being a few minutes late. The manager handled things professionally and the staff did too. I waited a few extra minutes for my order but everything was correct and tasted great.”

“This place is amazing. Yes the inside is very tiny but the atmosphere of that tiny space is big, huge in fact. I had never came to this restaurant before but will be coming back often. I ordered for myself a taco salad as take out to wait on. I was treated kindly and with plenty of smiles. As I stood and waited I smiled and laughed at the close interaction most places dream of. I paid what was a fair price just to have money returned as an accidental over charge. With of course apologies for the charge. I didn't take the refund because the food was amazing and the time spent waiting and watching was worth it. Such a great job being done there Thank you all”

“This was a good dinner, diner. Prices were typical. Food was really good. Server, a bit slow with drinks but all in all a good experience. BBQ platter wasn't the best Ive had but it was really good, and the portions were commendable as well. Lots of different sauces to choose from. The Mac and cheese was REALLY good! “I had the chicken sopapillas and I really liked it. My husband had a plate and was served some soup on top consisting of ground beef and some spices. He wasn't amused. My father in law had a plate and was charged almost $40 and with no rice or beans. They have no interest in returning but I do. I really enjoyed the plate. Sure, they barely serve rice or beans in the plates that are lucky enough to have them but what they do well, they do really well.”

“I came in from driving from Jacksonville Florida Last rest stop I was at and got sleep was in Nebraska. I made it to Wyoming and much of the rest stops close with no over night parking. I came to this station need food and a top off. I asked of I could nap in the parking lot 😴 😩 😪. They gladly said yes... This station the employees are extremely nice and are understanding of the fact that rest areas are closed so you can't rest at a rest stop. I hope the owner sees this and the many other 5 star reviews . Food is good service is excellent. . . . .”

“Such a great place to stay! We were traveling from Iowa back to the west coast and stumbled on this hotel. It was a winter wonderland and Christmas decor got us in the spirit. We had a dog, so requested the room with its own entrance for easy access. The owners are incredibly friendly, the room was clean and we loved the historic decor. The bed was very comfortable, so we had a great sleep. I took our pup for a play at 5am, and we saw deer, moose and other wildlife. Highly recommend!”
