    Excellent fresh food that contrasts the usual steak/burger food everywhere. A really nice change of pace with excellent and friendly staff.

    I had the BBQ wild boar and my wife had the sautéed vegetables and we both loved it!

    Fast, friendly service. I had the roasted vegetables with chickpeas and potatoes, I highly recommended it! The ingredients tasted fresh and perfectly seasoned. We were there at noon on a Thursday and it wasn't very crowded. Plenty of locally sourced meat and vegetarian options.

    Dinner last night at The Local was outstanding. Fresh ingredients served perfectly prepared by friendly, knowledgeable staff. Each course was amazing, we look forward to our next visit.

    A welcome change from the standard fare we've been finding of meat, burgers, salad and potatoes. More thoughtful menu here. We had flatbread with pulled elk and salad and a pork green chili (which was not at all spicy, despite our server's warning). Both had nice flavour. Good service.

    Vegan and gluten free options which are nutritious and delicious. A genius cooks here. Do make a reservation for dinner. Also has intriguing carnivore meals according to my dining companion.
