Great stop on our way to Sturgis a couple years ago. We looked in the window and the owner was prepping food out back . The bar was closed. We waved at him and he let us in for a visit . Great guy - hoping he will open for lunch on Friday 08/05 when we are passing thru this year. Great photos on the walls.

The best steaks we have ever had! Outstanding mashed potatoes with truffles! Delicious vegetables, excellent wine list and Desserts were delicious!

I came here with my entire National Guard unit which had to have been close to 100 people, maybe more (they knew in advance we were coming and we rented the whole place out). We definitely put the staff through their paces but they did an incredible job keeping up and doing it with a smile. The drinks on the cocktail menu were all phenomenal (the saddle brone beer is some of the best beer I've ever had), food was outstanding and of course the atmosphere makes this a really cool spot. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely be stopping by and I suggest you do the same.

Probably the best prime rib i have ever had. Southwest corn was good, an interesting preparation I'd never seen before. Served with mashed potatoes. Really good bartender. We were in a large group, more than 100 people, the only real downside was that the service was slow, but that is because of our large party. Cesar salad was also delicious. Both indoor and outdoor seating, gorgeous scenery, horseshoes out back. Lots of cool historical quirky details about the place. It was great.

Had a wonderful dining experience once I found M&S S/H. The server ( marvelous nice Female) was very kind & attentive & knew her products very well. Everything from the salads to the desserts, she had outstanding recommendations for the meal. The restaurant setting a very comfortable old western style interior. The owner came out & talked with everyone to introduce herself & ask how everything was. Very detailed individual & made you feel welcome. All the ladies worked very well together & all were looking out for your care. It's best to get there early as folks come from miles around & it's a very elegant & magnificent dining experience. They are open only 4 days a week (Thursday thru Sunday). When weather is nice & summer on the horizon, this establishment is sought out & a popular attraction with the biker crowd as a must stop & enjoy point of good times. I just hope that anyone that goes, gets the quality of service that I received from my server. I don't think that you'll get anything but the best if you go. Don't be shy on the drive as the best is at the end of the road once you find M&S S/H. Best Wishes to all. It's a go back again experience.
