“Probably the best prime rib i have ever had. Southwest corn was good, an interesting preparation I'd never seen before. Served with mashed potatoes. Really good bartender. We were in a large group, more than 100 people, the only real downside was that the service was slow, but that is because of our large party. Cesar salad was also delicious. Both indoor and outdoor seating, gorgeous scenery, horseshoes out back. Lots of cool historical quirky details about the place. It was great.”

“This BBQ is amazing! Meat was pure perfection no matter if choosing the brisket, ribs, or pork. The cowboy beans were savory and had great texture without being too sweet. The coleslaw has a hint of spice that accompanies the savory flavor and you can appreciate the real flavor of the cabbage as the balance of flavors offer a hint of German seasonings at the finish. It will be a long winter waiting for the kitchen to reopen!”

“Quick service. Busy location from out of state travelers like us. There is a large dirt lot next to this location for those towing trailers and maybe big rigs. Tables were dirty when we are here. That was disappointing. Order was accurate and quick and mostly warm, not quite hot. This is a worthy stop if you are driving by on I-25 and need a fast bite to eat.”
