Courtyard by Marriott Edmonton Downtown

Overall, nice place, clean. Front of hotel is a bit of as mess though on the outside....Not a nice path or driveway into the building. Once inside, it's fine. Close to lots of locations, almost next door to Shaw centre. Room did not contain a safe though so be forewarned. Also, water bottles in room were not free ...$2.50.... each. Bring your own if you think that is steep (I did). Comfortable bed, good view of river, staff is friendly.

Under renovation so no sundries available but 7-11 a couple blocks away...rooms were big...no bathtub in our room but walk-in shower... bathroom was HUGE...one wall was mostly large windows! Beautiful outside patio area over looking the river valley. Room service was quick. Pay for parking inside at checkin...better than playing with the parking pay machine outside.

This hotel is excellent. The staff are very friendly and inviting. The menu at the Riverside Bistro is very tasty. We had an issue in our room. Not only did they say sorry 1 million times but they gave us a sorry card and a fruit plate. This hotel is worth a visit!!

Best Burger I have had in a long time. And the service was great. My server, Mark, was really on the ball and friendly. Using the Thornton room temporarily while the restaurant is being renovated. Don't let that bother you.
