  I love this hotel it’s very historic and beautiful. But I find that inside needs some new changes the carpets look really old and out of date and some of the walls and furniture need revamping. If people are paying a good price to stay at a hotel they should always keep the place looking well kept. This hotel has more potential and I think with a few changes it’s could be a better place for our city.

  Best hotel in the city. always ask for the corner rooms or the highest room. great staff.
  they have an awesome spa. hot tub and pool. they even have patio outside the pool awesome in the summer.
  close access to the funicular new free attraction.

  The Mac is a famous high class five stars hotel built by the Grand Trunk Pacific Railways in the year 1915. It's currently managed by the Fairmont Hotels and Resorts. They have affordable suits and several hotels and restaurants. Overlooking the river valley of one of the biggest urban parks in America. It's also accessible through Harper Avenue. Their service is international class and it's possible to book online with no additional payment.

  Classy and full of Historic Decor. Rooms are clean and updated, and the views are amazing. Most of all the staff are really great. They really take the time to make sure you are comfortable. I would recommend this place to anyone who lives in Edmonton or visiting.

  With the weekends bad weather we decided to have a staycation at the Hotel MacDonald. Sometimes its nice to be a tourist in your own neighborhood. Our expectations were exceeded by Janelle, Client Relations and Michael, Brand Ambassador by executing every detail I requested with genuine enthusiasm. Not to be out done was the luxury of the King George Suite, truly spectacular. Amazing hotel and even better staff! Thanks for making our night special.
