Yokozuna

Was my favorite sushi place, but last time we came into town it seemed like they had a off night. Service was intermittent, no booze as problem with liqour licence and pork belly seemed soggy and blah. Rest of food was great, would go again in right mood.

From the outside this Japanese restaurant doesn't look like much, just a hole in the wall restaurant in a random strip mall. But inside, it looks and feels like a high end Japanese restaurant. They have an excellent selection of sake, and the food is amazing. Everything was served quickly and accurately.

Truly the best service I have had in recent memory. The food is exceptional for land locked Edmonton. Very clean and properly maintained. Definitely one of my go to places

This place is a gem. The outside belies the interior design, simple and really sets the mood of Japanese cuisine and the staff give a welcoming feeling.
Onto the food! Absolutely delicious. Visit often and try everything, for real I can't name a dish I didn't like, except for maybe the seaweed salad... But the next time I visited they remembered! And switched it up to something more delicious.
I wish I could describe everything on their menu but I would be taking away from your experience of enjoying it all with your own mouth!
Come here hungry cause the portions are solid and the prices won't make you sweat.

Simply the best! And they take time to prepare the food to meet my crazy dietary restrictions- I am so grateful.

Freshest food and a wonderful dining area. The staff are fantastic and the menu has something for everyone. Parking is ample.

I celebrate most events here and my friends love joining me at Yokozuna. I have NEVER had a disappointing meal.
