Adaptive set me up! I absolutely love my automated lighting that is fully integrated with Amazon Alexa and Apple HomeKit. Automated blinds are also a game-changer. You don’t realize how convenient home automation is until you have it. Tyrell and Matt will go above and beyond to make sure that your setup is personalized to your needs.

Tyrell and his team did a great job to fully automate our home in Calgary. Tyler gave the best price in the market and did and excellent job. Being out stationed, I have full control of the house. Lighting, temperature and cameras, everything is control though an app. The most exciting part is the theater room. Tyrell and his team are knowledgeable and have hands-on experience in what they do. I would definitely recommend them and I will engage them in my future projects

Tyrell and Matt were great to deal with when putting together our smart home package. They came over numerous times to get everything set up and educate us on how it works. I would highly recommend them! Plus it is awesome being able to speak to our house to set lights, music, lock doors etc.

We recently bought a new condo, and the show suite of the condo included automated lights, blinds, heating, door bell (video and audio) and front door lock. We wanted to automate our condo too, so we hired Adaptive Developments (who did the show suite) to do some work for us. We decided to automate our lights, door bell, heat, front door lock, and fireplace.

I'm not technologically savvy so I don't know how it all works, but they basically programmed all our items (lights, heat, etc.) through their own app, and integrated it with our Home and Amazon Alexa apps so that we can control our lights, heat, fireplace, doorbell, and front door lock from anywhere in the world through our iPad/iPhone. We can also set different scenes up so that when we say something (e.g., "Good morning Alexa"), it initiates a series of automated responses. For instance, our bathroom and bedroom light turns on, Alexa reads us the news and the weather, and then plays some music through Spotify).

I can't say enough positive things about Tyrell and his team (Matt, Chris, and Shelby). They have been extremely helpful and have gone out of their way to make sure that we are happy with our new technology. He did all the programming of initial scenes, and taught us how to program new scenes. We had a few glitches in our place, mainly because our Wifi was not fast enough (which had nothing to do with Adaptive). But Tyrell worked with us to come up with a solution. He went above and beyond to ensure that we were happy with the final result (which we are!).

The only thing to note is that the programming isn't super straightforward because the different apps aren't fully integrated. To program a scene, you first have to program it in one app, and then in Alexa. And to answer the doorbell you answer it through the doorbell app, but you have to actually open the door through a different app. I suspect that over time, the apps will become more fully integrated. And Tyrell will be right there to help when the technology catches up!

My only regret is that I didn't automate my blinds! Now that I'm used to turning on my lights and fireplace from the comfort of my couch, I want to be able to shut the blinds when the sun comes streaming in! :)
