Holiday Inn Calgary Macleod Trail South

Beautiful, warm pool (no hot tub though). Free breakfast included which was delicious
and filling. The king size bed was heavenly..

Our waitress was literally the best on earth. We were 4 parents, 5 kids (oldest was 6) and having been a mother of 3 herself- she was so attentive, communicated so well with us and all the children... she was patient attentive, oh yeah and she was the only one working. Absolutely amazing. Wish i knew her name to thank her for making our night/visit such a memorable one!
Can't comment on the rooms etc. But everyone's food was really good and the pool was clean and not freezing! Will be recommending this place to any family member who visits. Looking forward to returning ???? .

I was only here for a workshop in the ballroom and not as a hotel guest so my review is from that stand point ????????

The location is easy to find with ample parking. It was clean and modern and the front desk staff on were very professional and courteous. Because of my extensive background in hospitality management and reviewing I am always interested to watch the goings-on. I was really impressed with the front desk staff (no name tag that I saw but could have been covered by hair or something) and their dealing with the guests. I was early to the event so I wandered around and then sat and watched. I did not eat the food in the restaurant but did ask if someone would fill my water bottle as the sound check etc were going on in the ballroom so I could not access the conference amenities like water yet. The front desk lady called over a server from the restaurant. He was amazing and so kind even though it was dinner rush. Bonus points for that. I wrote his name down and sent a satisfaction survey to the hotel about him for being outstanding even when there was not money or tips in it for him and it was dinner rush.

If you are looking at hosting a meeting here I would give it two enthusiastic thumbs up from my viewpoint!!????????????

It's is just a Holiday Inn...give it 3 ???? ???? ???? as it's just a 3 star hotel. I had a few meetings there, 3 star standard all the way around. The bar is great, great bartenders, we always had a few drinks after there. The food is just ok, as to be expected, rooms are standard affairs. The location of the hotel is pretty good, just outside of downtown and stampede.

The staff and service was awesome. We had minor problem with heat in room and they jumped to make it right. Even offered another room. Food was good, room was spotless but service was beyond good.
