  Customer service was very poor. There’s only one person serving for the entire restaurant. I asked for an extra order of mayo and he said it’d be extra which I agreed to but he didn’t even remember to bring it out the entire time we were there. The restaurant was pretty dead too. Only one other table came in half an hour after we arrived. The drink wasn’t very tasty either. I ordered an earl Grey milk tea.

  Tried it today. Oolong bubble tea was good; just as good as other chained bubble tea places. Really enjoyed the Taiwanese beef noodle soup. It had great flavour and the beef was very tender! Boyfriend really liked the Taiwanese popcorn chicken. Will go back for sure.

  Went to Happy Tea on Saturday night with family, food is really good! And prices are reasonable! It’s a good place to go with friends, loves or even yourself. Highly recommend popcorn chicken, I dare to say they have the best popcorn chicken in Calgary! Will go there again for sure!

  It's kinda an interesting experience for me personally, I really like their food items but not too impressed with their tea quality.
  
  Happy Tea does a great job on pricing their food items and I am generally quite impress with their food quality given it's price ( ~ $10). We had the chance to tryout their spicy Taiwanese beef noodle and their fried chicken cutlet rice and we like it! Their Taiwanese beef noodle offers up really good portion for $10.50, it has lots of lean beef pieces that's well cooked and seasoned. Their meat is about half lean and half tendon and it's not too salty and moist, but the broth is on the saltier side. My wife who is usually a very picky eater really liked how big the overall portion and thoroughly enjoyed it! My fried chicken cutlet rice comes with a portion (I mean, it's half of the plate!) I will say prob half of a chicken breast pounded out and it's moist! Although half of the breaded surface got kinda moist due to contact with the plate, but it's still quite enjoyable. One downside I have to mention is the amount of vegetable that came with the dish is minimal, but for this price point I am not really complaining! (~$10.50)
  
  Their quality of pearls and tea wasn't that great comparing to other bigger chains out there, but for a family run restaurant I shouldn't be too picky... but their pearls were harder in the middle and almost soggy on the outside. I read from other reviewer that their slush is quite good but I would like to try those next time!
  
  Overall it's a decent neighborhood restaurant and please keep up the good food quality please!

  Pleasantly surprised! The bubble was great and the food we had was delicious. Service was quick and friendly too. We will come back and try more food! It’s nice to have a place like this in the neighborhood.
