Uptown Moving

They did a great job moving us across town, very professional, funny, and took care with our belongings. Highly recommend and I'll definitely call them up again if I ever need another move.

Uptown Movers came to our rescue today. Yesterday we closed on our first home purchase. It started snowing a couple days before our closing and by yesterday we had over a foot of snow. Then yesterday our elevator broke down. The other movers we had scheduled didn’t want to move us down 4 floors and advised us to cancel. Then we found out that the elevator was leaking hydraulic fluid and will likely be out for a month or longer. Christmas is in 3 days. And I was crushed. I reached out on Facebook and someone from Uptown Movers said to call and they would make the move happen for us. I couldn’t believe that they were willing to do that for us! Not only was it 3 days before Christmas, our parking was horribly filled with snow and we were four floors up with no elevator and tiny stairwells!!! The elevator company ended us calling us last minute and telling us that they would open the elevator for our move but no people were allowed in which saved us a lot of work, but I have no doubt that they would have moved us down all of those stairs. I can not tell you how grateful I am to Uptown Movers!! Thank you guys to the moon and back. I will recommend you to everyone I know. Your guys are professional kind and more than willing to go the extra mile. I am very grateful!

I had a similar experience to others where my Uhaul canceled on me last minute. My sister found the ad for Uptown, and I was skeptical they would be able to fit me in last minute, but I called anyways. The owner answered immediately and without hesitation said, yes. They could fit me in for the afternoon the next day. I was so relieved. They arrived early and the move went so smoothly. They were life savers. I highly recommend.

I moved in August 2022….. the two gentleman (sorry I can’t remember your names) that came were kind, courteous , professional and went above and beyond! As a single mother that works full time/overtime there were a couple things straggling around and they took it upon themselves to pack them. They were attentive and asked questions about certain things and what I would like done with them and were just all around very caring!

I had to leave and go to work and left them to unload at my new house….. they kindly set up both mine and my daughters beds, which I did not ask for and thought was super sweet!

Also, after calling around to different moving companies….. uptown was by far the most reasonably priced!! I highly recommend them and will use them again in the future if I ever move again!!
