We stayed at Ambledale Farm and it was fabulous. Reayane was the perfect host and welcomed us with a basket of local goods and flowers from the farm. The tiny house is next to a little pond and is very private and secluded. Reayane was happy for us to roam around the farm and woods and recommended hiking trails to us in nearby Ruckle Park. We slept, we ate, we read, we didn't want to leave. We completely unplugged for a few days and left restored. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

It was a girls road trip and on a bit of a whim we found ourselves on Salt Spring Island. After an hour of calling around we finally found Ambledale Farms. To our absolute delight it was amazing and perfect!! A quaint and beautiful little cottage in the forest. This is a place to really relax and enjoy nature. We just needed a roof and a couple of beds and the rest would work itself out. No electricity or running water, outhouse for a bathroom, and shower bag hanging from a tree - all meant that it would add to our adventure! We went for a hike, swam in the pond, and relaxed with wine on the deck. It's only a 15-20 minute drive to town when we wanted to go out for dinner. Reayan was a perfect hostess and so incredibly sweet! We will DEFINITELY be back next summer and would highly recommend this experience to looking for some relaxation and adventure.
