The Last Door Recovery Center provides the utmost care for the family as a whole . They provides treatment services that is tailored for the individual to recover from a hopeless state of mind and body .The last Door creates this life giving environment that is very contagious that no body gets left behind.
The Last Door has so much to offer process groups, written assignments , education, yoga , running , gardening and building on community where the men get to give back at events like Recovery Capital , Recovery Day learning the "value in the doing".
Being of service and finding purpose is the therapeutic value of one addict helping another is primary. Having a sense of belonging is instrumental for its key for Connection. Connection is the opposite of addiction .
The message of Hope is alive and well here at the last Door and Keystone retreat where family's heal and find lives without the pain of addiction . Breaking the Chains is to celebrate not suffer .
Dave and Louise for over 30 years has devoted selfless service to thousands of men and women for a place which I call Heaven on Earth LAST DOOR.

Utmost respect for the work done by Last Door. I've seen so many guys recovering from their addiction for continuous multiple years. They seem to have the magic touch that works for so many. With group, one on one counseling, 12 steps, respect, good food and lots of love and laughter it works! My step son went through the Last Door is 16 years clean, and my son just celebrated 4 years. Thank you and I sincerely wish you continued success.

The time I spent at The Last Door was an important part of my Journey on the road to recovery. The empathy, compassion and professionalism of the staff was very helpful. They taught me the importance of connection and community while working through addiction. I am very grateful for the love and support I received while there and for the continuation of love and support in the years since I left.
Thank you for not giving up on me and loving me when I wasn't capable of loving myself.

In my observation Dave and Louise, founders of the Last Door, have thoroughly succeed at developing an amazing community approach to recovery. I have seen the transformation of many men at the Last Door; connecting to world/community, finding purpose and meaning, and contributing to greater good. The Last Door invites the family to be a part of the healing, facilitating men to become better fathers, sons, employees.. helping family and supports heal together. Through the community recovery becomes exciting, attractive and fun. The Last Door supports many fun events throughout the year such as Recovery Day, Annual Family Picnic, Keystone Retreat, Recover Comedy shows and many recovery dances which help normalize/incorporate recovery into life. I love how the Last Door promotes continued giving back and being a part of the recovery community, an essential element in sustaining recovery. Men gain a new perspective on what is important, lives change and worlds open up. Recovery is possible and is definitely alive and well in New Westminster at the Last Door! You won’t look back.

I highly recommend Last Door for anyone seeking help with substance abuse. The staff are amazing!! They are very knowledgeable on addiction and have a great recovery program. They care about the clients as well as the whole family! They have done some amazing things within their community, building relationships and teaching those who come into recovery how to be productive, respectful members of that community. I have lots of love and respect for the Last Door!
