The Hotel at River Rock

Stayed at this hotel on our way back from Queen Charlotte Lodge Fishing Resort, the main reason why is because they have a discount for those who stayed there and they have a freezer that can hold your fish until your flight is ready to go. The staff were really nice and accommodating, the building is setup what the hotel separate from the casino attached by a Skyway, in the check in part of the hotel there is a Starbucks and convenience store and restaurant.

Overall, we had a comfortable stay. Location is awesome as you can easily jump into the skytrain to reach many parts of Lower Mainland. Parking setup is really weird and can be confusing. We didn't like the idea of having to park in the parkade structure... Then having to lug our luggages through the street to reach the hotel. That wasn't fun with a child in toll. Also the hotel/resort have two sides with two different lobbies. Even with the bylaw, there were a lot of smokers around the building/parkade. And there were smokes/smell coming out of these little "huts" just outside their casino/resort side which we assumed to be employees' smoke break spaces. It was annoying having to walk past those between the parkade and hotel. Decor and furnishings are of higher end. Very clean. The swimming pool was awesome. We enjoyed that a lot.

Nice hotel. Good casino. But expensive

Semi decent hotel with Casino attached. Lousy pool compared to other major chains. Not recommended for a single night stay but for at least 2-3 days to get the most of your time and moneys worth. Pretty good location with fast access to the ferries.

Loved my 1 night away with a great rate! Room was great, nice and clean, robes in the room as well. Great amenities on site.
