Kumon Math & Reading Centre

If you are looking for a wonderful supportive learning environment for your child, this is the place! The staff are the best! They are all genuinely interested in our children's learning success and well-being. The leadership, Deborah Marno, is top-notch. She is passionate about education and provides a very creative, inspiring and innovative learning environment that encourages excellence. She is a kind and caring instructor, who is always smiling! Dave Marno does a great job engaging the children in conversation and encouraging them to reach their goals! Pam is always cheerful and greets every child with a smile. She is always excited to share our children's progress reports and achievements after each test. My children enjoy the support and attention they receive here, which creates a wonderful and motivational learning environment. I am very grateful that my children could have the opportunity to learn and grow in both the math and reading programs. It has added value to their learning experience at school, as well as at home. The creativity, enthusiasm and care that is put into all areas of this Kumon Learning Centre is second to none, from the leadership to the teaching staff to the environment . . . to Marno's Market (which is brilliant), all contribute to the success of our children. We have had three children through this centre and appreciate the hard work and dedication in support of our three different learners. We have seen significant improvement with all of them and it is only through the attention of the staff. Special thanks to Pam who greets each child by name and keeps up on their progress to encourage them to meet their goals. Kumon teaches math and reading with the fringe benefit of encouraging independence and self motivation. Highly recommended!

The staff members at this centre are very caring and put in many hours of extra effort on the kids' behalf. From Office Manager Pam at the front desk, to Mr and Mrs Marno who direct the programme, to the many assistants who work with the kids, they are all approachable, knowledgeable and efficient. The environment that they've created is organized, uplifting and motivational. They do many, many "little extras" to make it an even more enjoyable experience for the kids. My children always go eagerly to their weekly centre time. I have been thrilled with the progress that they've made and their resulting increased self-confidence. Kumon is a wonderful program; it's been a fantastic investment in my kids' future, and the staff at this centre make it extra-special and rewarding. I feel very fortunate to be able to have my kids attend. Thank you!

My son was in the Kumon reading program for just over 5 years. During this time his confidence and self esteem have improved immensely, and his grades are reflective of his hard work and efforts. The instructors and staff are wonderful and they are excellent at finding ways to help keep the kids motivated. My daughter was also enrolled in the Math program for just over 2 years and she also improved in her grades and confidence. Highly recommend for anyone struggling in these areas. We appreciate everything the centre has done for us and have enjoyed being part of the Kumon community!
