(February 14, 2019, 3:58 am)I was visiting Vancouver for a week and had the pleasure to stumble into this place. The coach, Mike Cartwright is obviously a master of his subject and was able to make quite a few corrections on my technique (or lack thereof) in the short time I was able to spend with him. The place is filled with dedicated and welcoming people and my only regret is not being able to stay.

(March 14, 2018, 9:39 pm)I’ve been Olympic weightlifting with the club for over 3 years. The Coach (Mike Cartwright) has many decades of coaching experience from novice to international lifters. The club is welcoming to all ages and abilities! This is one of the very few Olympic Weightlifting clubs that don’t require prerequisites.
