“Operator was friendly but tent sites are right by the Highway so traffic all night. Potable water, bathrooms, showers and electricity (plug in washroom) available. They don’t take reservations but we rode in on a long weekend and didn’t have trouble getting a site.”

“Perfect spot to stay when cycling the KVR. Ellis, the owner was awesome and even drove our panniers on to the next stop, Idabelle Lake (for a fee) for us to assist with carting our belongings and food. Make a point to ask Ellis to set you up with your meal before you arrive, he has a contact at a neighboring ranch that can supply meat for the night and for the next night. All in a days work for Ellis. Cheers”

“The Towering Pines is located across the street from the Big White village. So it's not exactly ski in/ski out, but it's very close. The amenities and space in our unit was great. We had seven people staying, and it was plenty of room. Very comfortable, great views of the valley below and the jacuzzi was a lot of fun. The service was friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend based on our experience.”

“Very nice clean studio room with a fully equipped galley kitchen. Service was great and my girls and us loved the pool and hot tub. The hours of operation of the pool were short however and no ice machine, but the staff promptly brought us some. I even had a chance to do a quick HIIT in their workout room and was sad we didn't get a chance to use their theatre room.”

“After an epic day of riding the bike park we stopped there for dinner. The food was great I ordered the biggest hot dog you've ever seen and it was so delicious. The staff is super friendly and they have a great cocktail list. Highly recommend it you can go up anytime and just grab food and drinks. Super chill Lounge spot we have the best day.”

“These guys know what they are doing... After skiing Big White for a few days in a pair of boots I bought a few years ago in Ontario, I went into Dizzy’s to inquire about why my boots hurt. One of the Techs spent 30 minutes looking at my boots I bought somewhere else, put a boot wedge in because my boots were too big... Best part, didn’t charge me, but I put $20 in their tip jar. I’m going to buy a new pair of boots next year on my annual Big White ski trip. Dizzy, you have a customer for life... Thanks, and before I leave Big White this year I am coming in to buy a few things - just because!!!!! You guys rock.”

I understand that they have only one barista working and that quality coffee takes time, I'm ready to wait for a quality cup. However, when the drink is only lukewarm I am disappointed, especially after paying over $15 for two drinks and a pastry. I will give them one more chance before I take my caffeine urges to another coffee vendor on the mountain.”
