“Good ski-in from Shortcut run and ski-out on Shortcut run to Black Forest lift and its new day parking or you can ski out to the Happy Valley day parking. We stayed in a 3 bedroom on top level (third). Well appointed furnishings and appliances, large smart TV with lots of channels, free WI-FI, natural gas fireplace and comfy beds. We never completely figured out the heat or how to turn it down due to what looked like a dual system (in floor and forced air). Main bed had a nice ensuite and window to outside. Second bed had lots of room and small tv with window to outside. Third bedroom had no windows and was small so the occupants had to keep their door open to cool down. The hot tub could handle 6 people and the balcony it was on offered great views of valley as shown here. Less than a 10 minute walk to the village centre. All in all, a very nice place to stay on the hill, a little removed from the busyness of the village.”

“We stayed at this location for our annual trip to Big White. The room we got was highly spacious and contained two bathrooms and two bedrooms. Also included in our room was a dishwasher, which we were surprised to see coming from a different hotel at Big White. The only drawback was that our SUV did not fit inside the garage because of the roof mounted trunk, so that's something to consider. Everything else was excellent, and the inn was located within walking distance of the town center and the Bullet Express ski lift.”

“We had a group of 8 people and spent 4 days snowboarding. I am a huge fan of big white and 100% recommend the mountain. The resort on the other hand has just a few things wrong with it. Issues with our gear locker, issues with out hot tub and issues with our fire place. Other then that there was lots of room, new, clean and great location. Best place to stay at on the mountain for a larger group.”

“The mountain bike trail builders at this hill are incredible. All the cool kids want flow and they have nailed it. Even the tech trails have it. Also the chair is fast and efficient allowing for many laps. The only bad thing is that there are so many jumps and berms that are perfect that you will ride them until you can no longer move”

The views from the back windows were spectacular especially with the sunrise over the mountains. Laura and Derek were awesome; helpful, kind and close by. I would stay there again.”

“Crescendo is perfectly located atop Big White Mountain. We had our 2 year old with us, and it was so easy to walk her up to daycare which made the location even that much better. It was the first truly "relaxing" vacation we have had with our 5 year old and 2 year old. They were easily entertained in the indoor/outdoor pool and with the child care being walking distance...it was perfect! The amenities of Crescendo are out of this work and it is apparent that the owners are VERY involved and care so much about this home and their customers. I can't say enough good things about this place. If you're looking for a spectacular week in a relaxing environment where you can walk to the restaurants, day care and ski in/ ski out....THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU!”

“A little bit pricey but a fantastic place to stay. Ski in ski out is about 10 to 100 meters away (depending on which cabin) unless you wanted to ski on the road and risk damaging the skis on possible sand or salt.”

“The Whitefoot Lodge was more than we had expected for the price. It is the true definition of ski in ski out with the run right outside the door. We stayed in a budget room which was sufficient for the two of us. The outdoor hot tub is nice and was never crowded, and we were told you could see the fireworks from there! We met some of the condo owners and they were very proud of the place. It is an older building but is very well kept, clean and safe. It is the absolute best location on the hill and in the heart of the village. Highly recommended!”

“Came here for valentine's dinner, email reservation acknowledged the fact it was an anniversary however nothing was mentioned when we sat down. Waiter was friendly but not super attentive, restaurant wasn't super busy at the time. Food was tasty, ordered the steak and lobster, steak was perfectly cooked the lobster was pretty small. Also ordered the ribs which were really big and delicious. Would recommend.”

“We went there after downhill biking experience on Big White, as it was the only choice available at the time. The staff was very nice and friendly. We ordered salmon and burger special. The food was good, nothing to write home about. The menu board next to us suggested Irish Coffee to finish dinner, but when the waitress told us the coffee machine was broken since... the end of ski season. Hello, it’s July. Fix the coffee machine or take the suggestion off the board. It’s been few months!”

“Quirky pizza place kind of hard to find in the dark and fog. Warm and inviting when you get there. Wasn't busy when we were there but I bet it's pretty loud when it is. We just had some pizza but it was a good! Kids liked it too - no crusts leftover.”
