The Red Shoe

I stopped in for a meal before the Celtic Colours concert and I was not disappointed. Although very busy, I was seated quickly and the service was excellent. I opted for the Roasted Vegetable Pasta Puttanesca. It was delicious. The veggies were fresh and the Puttanesca sauce was rich and flavourful. I'm looking forward to coming back one of these days for the music. Highly recommend.

Visiting from Ontario. Crazy weather
( high winds and rain) prior to our arrival at the Cabot Trail so we stopped in for lunch. The 3 sisters soup was amazing! Excellent service and loved the connection to The Rankin Family ! Highly recommend!

Experienced all the charming qualities that I was expecting from Cape Breton: rustic and charming, fresh menu options, friendly service… comfortable dining experience that quickly made you feel right at home.
The feature fish cake burger with a side salad was delicious.

Stopped by the Red Shoe Pub before we started our trek on the Cabot trail and highly recommend !! The service was wonderful, our waitress was really attentive and informative. The seafood chowder was to die for and the pulled pork sandwich was also really good. Would recommend trying the Red Shoe Ale if you like a good Amber beer!
