A small perhaps family owned bakery with a small restaurant inside as well. I've visited and bought their coffee, bread and cinnamon biscuits. All were great. Plus had prepared meals and low sugar jams in the freezer. I can't wait to go back again. 😩 need more biscuits! Way better then a sticky bun or cinnamon roll. Split egg sandwich and omg it was big, and delish!

The food was good, the bread wonderful. I had oat bread, buttered and got a side of molasses to drizzle over it, along with fried bologna. I got excited when I could have something similar to a Newfoundland classic breakfast, but Cape Breton style.
Also pictured is the remains of a buttery oat meal cake that I split with my friend James, similar to shortbread, and pairs well with jam. It was simply lovely plain. There was also a side of Skirlie,
a traditional Scottish concoction made from oats, onions, fat and spices. It tasted like turkey stuffing and while a bit dense had a great flavour. I quite enjoyed the small portion served with my breakfast.

Great Breakfast and cafe joint. Lots of seating area. We are greeted and served very quickly. They were able to modify dishes to meet our dietary requirements. Bread is delicious and pastries are delicious, especially the brownie!

Great home food that tastes super fresh with huge portions, including their homemade bread! Service is fast, helpful and able to accommodate substitutions. The fudge brownie is out of this world and you should definitely try it!

Cool little road side restaurants. Wasn’t super busy when we stopped. Ordered the chicken and waffles. On the menu it says you won’t be disappointed if you order and they delivered on their promise. If you like fried chicken, waffles, bacon, BACON JAM, and real maple syrup it’s a must try.
