Ashlea House Bed & Breakfast

Great food, friendly staff. Beautiful old housing with eloquent furnishings, very clean, very good T.V. , great selection of CD's and books to read, three or four sitting rooms, great balconies and a widow 's tower over looking the Lunenburg harbour, easy walking to eateries, (The Knot Pub).
The breakfasts were excellent with very nice and different preparations ( the nice kind).
Lunenburg is a must see place to visit.
The Ashlea House B&B is one of the best places to visit.

There are other nice towns to visit while you are there, close by.
Not far from Halifax.
Good gift shops and art galleries too.
Sea excursions too, but check due to Covid.

Ashlea Inn is definitely one of the best we have ever stayed in. From the moment we walked thru the door the atmosphere was very welcoming. Our room was immaculate & had everything we could possibly need. Our 3 course breakfast every morning was delicious. We were free to use the dining area at any time for coffee/tea or enjoy a fresh baked goodie. Our hosts went above and beyond to make our stay relaxing & memorable.

We stay at B&Bs every time we travel, so we've seen our fair share. I can honestly say that Ashlea House is second to none. Marianna and her husband pay attention to every detail of their beautiful, immaculate house, they cater to their guests' every need, the breakfast was absolutely outstanding, they're knowledgeable of the town's history and current goings-on... what more can I say. Our stay was positively delightful and I can't recommend it highly enough. Outstanding in every respect.
