Wonderful trail. Well maintained, lots of wildlife around. Parking lot, and nearby gas station with washrooms and Tim Horton’s as well.

One of best local walking trails. Usually quiet because lot of people come to see birds so they don't make much noise which is good. Birds may come and sit on you, so be friendly please. Feeding wildlife is prohibited bylaw, so I personally refrain from doing so whereas many people think they are helping wildlife by feeding them but they are in fact not. It makes brids lazy and dependant, there is a lot to eat for them in the nature and this law is there for a reason. Nice photo shoot area, may see Herons in winter if lucky, hawks and Snowy Owls too but chances are slim. Paid parking is easy, if full nearby parking lots available too.

It's really relaxing to walk on the trail while listening to the birds chirping and sometimes they will come to you when you take a picture of them. Lots of birds such as cardinal, woodpecker, etc.

gorgeous trails and boardwalk, with plenty of chances to have birds and chipmunks eat from your hands! just be mindful of appropriate food for each animal...and don't hurl great bloody loaves of bread at the ducks ????

This is a very nice walking trail with plenty of wildlife. The chipmunks and birds will often eat from your hands, but you need to come earlier for the birds or they'll be too full. The parking meter doesn't accept debit cards so remember to bring cash or a credit card. Free parking if you've got the RBG parking pass that comes with membership.
