The Colonel's Inn

If you enjoy centenary houses, it's the place to be. The interior was impressive. We stayed in Sarah's room which had it's own washroom ("powder room": sink & toilet). Shower is in the shared toilet room just beside it. It also has it's own private reading room with lots of windows facing the pool which was perfectly quiet to read a book at night. The host was very friendly and always made sure you had everything you need. Good 4 courses breakfast. I highly recommend if you go to Prescott.

Lovely house with history, nice and unique decorations inside. Very yummy breakfast as well. Just minutes walk to the Fort and the Riverside.

During the summer of 2019, myself and my co-worker stayed here for about a week, and the stay was excellent! We were warmly welcomed and treated like honoured guests while staying here. While being a work trip, staying here made it feel very much like a very relaxing vacation. I highly recommend staying here. You can expect to be fed very thoughtfully and well prepared food while staying here as well!

It was an amazing experience, the rooms are beautiful. They have an antique feel with modern amenities. The breakfast was fabulous!! They had a 5 courses, with modern takes on the classics. Best part was a perfectly cooked sousvide egg over a baked mash potatoes. Loved it!!

Our first B&B experience, and it was fantastic! My wife and I were enthralled with the fine old home, beautiful architecture, and clean/modern amenities. However, nothing topped the genuine warmth of the hosts, Kaye and Gerhard. Breakfast was superb, better than most we've had in five star hotels. We would highly recommend this establishment to all.
