First time viewing with my telescope and what a great place to view the sky.

Star gazing should be in everyone's bucket list

Nice place！

The sky here is very broad and you can see many stars here. Here you can easily see the Milky Way. Disadvantages: too close to the highway, often when taking photos always have car light into the pictures☹️

This was my second visit to a dark sky area to take photos of the Milky Way Galaxy. The location and facilities were great, and I would like to visit this place again in the future. One drawback of this location was that it was close to highway #41, which was carrying a lot of traffic. There were a few times when I had to retake a long exposure because the headlights or tail lights of a passing car showed up on the image. I could get around that by timing my photos of the Milky Way Galaxy to when a vehicle went by since I could hear the vehicles coming. That didn't work well when I tried to take a series of long exposure photos to make a star trail image. Every once in a while the headlights of a car would show up on one of the images. I'm not 100% sure, but I also believe that the light from Napanee in the south was visible in the Milky Way Galaxy photos.

Best dark sky viewing area near Toronto, Kingston and Ottawa. There’s quite a number of people there too
